On the final day of Senior Week, we have 2022 rising senior Mackenzie Billings. This amazing girl attends Grafton High School & I am very excited to have her as part of the GCP Model Team!

What 3 words would you use to describe yourself?  Caring, funny, introverted

Extra-circular involvement … I play soccer for both Grafton and my club team, Virginia Legacy. I also am a part of the national English honor society and national society for High school Scholars I ran track for two years with Grafton and helped my team place at states.

My senior year will be …. Awesome! I am so excited to be a senior, take cool pictures, and hopefully have an amazing senior night for soccer! I want to be committed for soccer by the end of my senior year and hopefully make an impact on people around me.

What piece of advice would you offer an underclassmen?  Understand that the switch from middle school to high school is going to be different and it’s ok. Make sure to take care of yourself and get help if needed. Do not be afraid to ask and be open to meeting new people. Finally, don’t compare yourself to other people because you don’t know their journey and they don’t know yours.
