Let the changes begin! (or continue, whichever) It all began with the longest plane ride of my life as we flew from Honolulu to Atlanta and then on to Norfolk. Oy! Talk about serious jet-lag. That was an awful first week. It’s been a crazy month with first my car arriving and then finally all of our furniture, and let’s not even get started on the madness of unpacking all these boxes. As I type this post, I am currently surrounded by piles of what I’d love to call “junk”, but it’s really not. It’s just items that have yet to find a home, or maybe my OCD is kicking in and not letting me just put it somewhere, but GIVE it a home. Oh boy! Fun times I tell ya! I had the smallest desire to do that whole “wipe everything off the desk with one hand” just so that I could sit here and get the ball rolling on these changes, but then I thought a little better about it. I mean, what would I do if I knocked my precious MAC off the desk? Yeah, that wouldn’t be good.
I am actually MORE excited to be here in VBch than I originally thought I was going to be. Have you seen this place?!? It’s BEAUTIFUL! I don’t know why I ever let anyone try and talk me out of coming here! The weather is already beginning to change and get cooler, and I’ll admit, after almost 3 years in Hawaii, that is taking a HUGE getting used to. But I am SO excited to have seasons again! I have already scoped out a few places for some fall sessions as well! I can’t wait!
So, here we go! First up…a new logo! Well…kind of anyway. I wanted my logo to remain the recognized brand that it has become, so all I really did was update my name. See!
Next up, you’ll start to see my web presence making the changes to the new logo. I have made the updates to my website, here on the blog, and on Facebook. I am currently waiting for FB to approve the name change, but that should *hopefully* come soon. The last step will be changing everything over to my new “WWW” name. I have the domain, now it’s just a matter of getting all the files transfered over. Sounds like a blast huh? haha! Little by little it will all come together, and I am very excited about this new chapter I’m starting in my life!
The session calendar has been re-opened and I’ll be posting a Fall Special soon as well! It’s time to get ready for those Holiday portraits, so don’t take your time! Stay tuned!
